Grants and Donations

Have you got a good idea for a project? Do you need funds?

London Area is prepared to make grants and donations to individuals or groups in order to further interest in the fine and decorative arts.

There are a few “rules”, as follows:-

The project must be within the London area or be associated with a National Concern and

a) involve young people in the decorative and fine arts
or
b) contribute to conservation or restoration
or
c) have an educational outcome, for all ages

At the conclusion of a project, London Area will require a report or presentation on the outcome of the project.

We also require some reasonable acknowledgement of the donation, and publicity on behalf of the 21 member societies of the London Area NADFAS, perhaps also some mention of NADFAS and its activities in any publicity material produced by the recipients

The proposer should complete the application form and submit it to the London Grants Adviser. The proposer will normally be a Society Chairman on behalf of the Society, a Study Course organiser or a member of the Area Committee.

The project will be considered by a small sub-committee drawn from the Greater London Committee, viz the Chairman, the Treasurer, and one or two committee members. Grants will be awarded twice a year, normally in February and September
